This was a commissioned piece for a friend. She wanted a piece of art that combined her experience back home and also her travels in Japan.

This piece is special to me. Ruby J. was created at the peak of last ski season. she was created because I was frustrated at the lack of diversity on the mountain. I don't often see people who look like me in the hills so I created my own role model and named her Ruby.

Frank is the guy working at the counter of at the gas station on your way to the mountain. He's a soul shredder. He's a legend but he's also incredibly humble.
